Why Become a Partnering Clinician

Becoming a Partnering Soterion Health Clinician will enable you to leverage our world-class facility to provide cutting edge therapy to your clients, without changing your current patient work-flow processes.

As a Soterion Health Partner, we will reimburse you for your time spent acquiring the intake information we will need for the patients you refer. More than likely, you will already have this information, so partnering will require little additional time.

What to expect

When you become a Partnering Clinician, you will conduct the intake examination at your office, we will conduct the imaging procedures and then provide you with a detailed report that includes findings and treatment recommendations. Couple this report with your clinical expertise and you will be able to design more targeted treatments for your clients that could not have been obtained through mental history and physical examinations alone.

As a Partnering Clinician, you will also receive invitations to our introductory Brain School 101 sessions, monthly online Grand–Round sessions and our monthly newsletters and bi–monthly case studies.

A scan will enable you as a clinician to identify;

  • • specific areas of the brain that are implicated with specific problems.
  • • specific target areas for treatment, such as an overactive basal ganglia, anterior cingulate gyrus (seen on anxiety and OCD spectrum disorders) or an under-active temporal lobe (seen in seizure disorders and other disorders such as trauma).
  • • the specific effect of medication on the brain and subsequently how to adjust dosages.
  • • underlying potential seizure activity that may be contributing to the problem, more accurately seen by SPECT than standard EEG, especially in the areas of the medial temporal lobe
  • • specific areas of the brain hurt by trauma to better target treatment and help deal with insurance, legal and rehabilitation issues.
  • • specific cause or reason that contributes to recovering alcoholics, drug addicts, eating disordered, or sexual addicts relapse behavior in their recovery from an addictive process.
  • • how the brain functions on treatment (improved or worsened)

Added Beneifits
